Jim Britton

Jim Britton is a Platform Architect in the Office of the CTO at VMware, and was formerly part of the vSphere organization in CPBU and Ecosystems Engineering before that. He leads multiple cross organizational and cross partner initiatives chartered to enable VMware's products on the next generation of hardware platforms. Having worked as an engineer at both Cobalt and Sun Microsystems, Jim has over 20 years of experience in operating system internals, server hardware design, and combined platform validation.
