Tamar Savir is an accessibility evangelist and founder of The A11Y Global Collective, a global network of communities focused on enabling digital accessibility and inclusion. Tamar leads VMware's Accessibility Operations, ensuring accessibility and inclusion are an integral part of the company's products and culture. In addition to driving compliance, she created and leads VMware’s Accessibility Advocates Program, which teaches teams accessibility-related concepts and skills. Previously, Tamar worked at LinkedIn, where she drove company-wide inclusion initiatives and headed the global EnableIn ERG. Tamar holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from York University in her native Canada, and a master’s degree in organizational behavior from New York University.
