Top Emerging Technology and Trend Sessions to Attend at VMworld USA

The Emerging Technologies and Trends is a track you don’t want to miss at this year’s VMworld USA conference, taking place Aug. 27-31 at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV.

The focus in this track will be highlighting the emerging technologies driving digital transformation, such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and Network Function Virtualization (NFV), that enable our partners and customers to execute their digital business transformation strategies. You will also learn how VMware is exploring and identifying disruptive technology trends to shape future solutions yet to be built.

VMworld may still be a few weeks out, but it’s never too early to start planning which sessions to attend. Here are six notable sessions from our emerging technology track we highly recommend:

Take a look behind the curtain and see how VMware nurtures innovation during this quick talk held by Michael Gandy, Director of Marketing and Business Development.

2. Leading the 5G and IoT Revolution Through NFV [FUT3215BU]Monday, Aug. 28, 11 a.m.

This breakout session, presented by Constantine Polychronopoulos, VP and CTO, Telco/NVF, will explain why Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) is the necessary foundation to fully realize IoT network functionality.

3. Ask the Experts – Titans of Tech [FUT1281PU]Monday, Aug. 28, 2:30 p.m.
